MacDonald, Stephen Charles Arthur. Age 45, of Kentville, passed away July 30th, 2017 in Valley Regional Hospital, After a short but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Stephen grew up in Brampton, Ontario, playing baseball and then he followed his father's footsteps into the automotive trade; where he excelled to become a red seal master tech. He was avid Coca-Cola collector and a mustang enthusiast, and enjoyed spending time online with his gaming friends.
From a young age, he had the love of animals and throughout his life brought home strays and surrounded himself with animals of all kinds. He shared his love of fishing with his wife and three children and was proud to teach them how to be strong and independent individuals. He was a volunteer with Brampton minor baseball team, as a coach for many years.
He was survived by his wife Kelley (Allan). His children Ash (Halifax), Crystal-Rose (Kentville), William (Kentville). His parents Joyce (Ward) and Charles MacDonald of Waterville. His sister Melissa (Neison) Bard of Berwick. His brother Craig (Krista) MacDonald of Cambridge. His nephews Jacob and Cameron Bard of Berwick and his grandmother Geraldine Ward of Berwick, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Hazen MacDonald, Arthur Ward and Irma MacDonald
In lieu of flowers, please join the family at a benefit auction in honour of Stephen on Sunday, August 6th from 12-4 p.m. in Coldbrook Lions Hall, 1416 South Bishop Road, Coldbrook.
