Kevin Patrick McDow of Edmonton, AB, originally from Forties (New Ross, NS).
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the his sudden passing on April 1, 2017 at the age of 45.
Born in Berwick, Nova Scotia on March 17, 1972, he was the son of Garth and Debbie (Robar) McDow of New Ross, Nova Scotia.
Kevin was a former member othe Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #79 in New Ross. He enjoyed competing in darts and cards. He also loved a good game of pool. Besides card games, he also enjoyed fishing with his family and friends when he came home for a visit or just a simple ride on his Harley. He loved movies and was a collector of many, which he would watch when in his Peterbilt Truck on the road.
He is loved and survived by his parents; brother Troy sister-in-law Alicia and their children Javin, Asha and Jemma; also grandfather Basil McDow of New Ross and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Ronald and Winnie Robar and Ruth McDow.
A Service of Rembrance will be held on April 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Forties Community Centre, New Ross with Revd Judi Phillips officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Ross Fire Dept. or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
