James "Bob" Robert Sampson, 68 of Black Rock (formally of Wolfville) passed away peacefully in the Valley Regional Hospital on May 1, 2017. He was the son of the late Daphne (Sampson) and step father Charlie Tracey.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters Barb Hiltz of Wolfville; Mary Baker of Digby; brother Frank (Joanne) Tracey of Windsor; several nieces and nephews; a good friend Lester and his cat Mittens.
James enjoyed fishing, hunting, farm work and going on his daily trips to Tim Horton's for a Timmy's coffee.
A visitation will take place on May 4, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on May 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Serenity Wolfville Chapel with Rev'd Gary Manthorne officiating. There will be a reception held at 60 Hillside Ave, Apt 202, Wolfville. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the NS Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia or the Kings County Victorian Order of Nurses (VON).
